ABOUT

Nowadays the most of the time that young people spend is online. As most of the Organizations are providing their regular annual activities outdoor or indoor on a local level, we could detect that low percentages of the activities were placed online until 2019. What the youth workers are looking for are new methods that can be approachable to young people and support their learning process with a certain dedication to topics we work with in our Organizations. With the gamification method we aim at providing online learning to our target groups.

“Gamification tools for youth learning” is an Erasmus+ project within the Programme 2014-2020 with a set of project activities, a team of 4 Organizations and the willingness to adopt gamification tools that can provide a boost to our young people while improving recognition of youth work. Our specific objectives are:
· To provide opportunities for youth workers to involve digital tools when providing youth work activities for young people;
· To involve new digital methods and tools for providing youth work activities;
· The young people to gain knowledge and skills on different topics for their social and personal development using online digital tools
· To motivate and inspire youth to act at local and national level by using their own potential, openness and ideas;
· Offering new opportunities for online learning on different topics providing social and personal development for young people on local and national level.

The project goes through four phases:
1. Research about the needs of young people and youth workers using gamification tool as learning tool (mapping);
2. Creating the digital toolkit which contains 30 games designed for our target groups;
3. A Learning/Training Teaching Activity for active youth workers in gamification;
4. A set of local activities for testing the games and launching them.
The project has a duration of 2 years (September 2020 – September 2022) and it involved 4 European partners from Poland (applicant), Macedonia, Estonia and Hungary.
